Accountabilities

  • Lead and manage multiple cross-functional engineering teams throughout the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, deployment, support, and monitoring.
  • Own the development, maintenance, and scalability of team applications, technical infrastructure, and engineering practices.
  • Guide system architecture, technical design decisions, and scalability discussions to support business growth.
  • Establish, monitor, and improve engineering metrics that demonstrate application health, performance, quality, and delivery effectiveness.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across processes, tools, engineering practices, and team culture.
  • Manage agile development methodologies to maximize value delivery, quality, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Hire, coach, mentor, and develop engineering leaders and team members while managing performance and career growth.
  • Partner with product, business, and executive teams to influence technology strategy and operational planning.
  • Promote modern software engineering practices, including effective design patterns, testing strategies, DevOps principles, and delivery automation.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to support innovation and technical excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 12+ years of relevant software engineering experience, including 5+ years managing multiple engineering teams or complex organizations.
  • Experience leading enterprise-level application platforms through development, testing, release, and ongoing support cycles.
  • Strong knowledge of software architecture, development practices, testing strategies, and production support.
  • Experience with mobile and web application development in multi-tenant environments.
  • Proven ability to lead distributed and remote agile teams.
  • Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, DevOps, and modern software delivery methodologies.
  • Experience mentoring engineers and leaders while building strong, collaborative engineering cultures.
  • Ability to drive innovation, improve processes, and encourage teams to adopt effective engineering practices.
  • Familiarity with design and development approaches such as Behavioral Driven Development (BDD), Domain Driven Design (DDD), and Test Driven Development (TDD).
  • Excellent communication, organization, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, resolve conflicts, and align technical initiatives with business objectives.
  • Strong commitment to delivering secure, reliable, and high-quality enterprise software solutions.
