About the Role
Provides overall management of the Corporate Project Management Function. Responsibilities include fleet integration and execution of all Major Capital Investment Projects (MCIP) & Strategic Projects, working with the senior management team to develop and implement plans that support site and corporate business goals and objectives. Directly supervises assigned project managers.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the execution of large projects, including accountability for safety, schedule, quality, cost, and dose minimization.
- Own the 10-year plan and assigned portions of the Corporate Strategic Plan, ensuring execution across all facets of the Project Lifecycle.
- Gain Executive Approval for Operations and Maintenance (O&M) and Capital Investments, including approvals from the Project Review Committee (PRC), Nuclear Safety Advisory Committee (NSAC), and Governance Oversight Committee (GOC) as necessary.
- Certify accurate estimates during all phases of the project lifecycle, including robust change control management throughout project design and execution.
- Retain and develop project managers supporting line management; evaluate assigned staff and recommend training or HR actions.
- Solicit feedback on the performance of personnel.
- Meet with regulatory groups to gain approval and respond to inquiries, including agencies such as the Department of Energy (DOE), Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO), Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI), and Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC).
- Support peer team improvement initiatives.
- Perform other job assignments or duties as directed by management, including Emergency Response duties and/or coverage.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 10 years of related experience, OR
- Associate's degree with 12 years of related experience, OR
- High school diploma/GED and 14 years of related experience.
- Experience with managing projects.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification (within 18 months of starting position).
- Project budgeting, cost tracking, and cost estimating experience.
- Supervisory or managerial experience.
- Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master of Business Administration (MBA).
- Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) or SRO Certification.
- Engineering or Technical Degree.

Pay
Expected salary range of $180,000 to $200,000, varies based on experience.
