Sr. Mgr Procurement

For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Mgr Procurement to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space. This role will lead procurement operations with a strong focus on compliance, supplier performance, and efficient execution across a geographically dispersed team. The position partners closely with internal stakeholders to define requirements, improve purchasing processes, and ensure alignment with regulatory and approval standards. It also supports team development through training, coaching, and effective talent management. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $132,400 – $251,600 annually Responsibilities Lead and manage procurement activities to ensure compliance and efficiency Establish and monitor performance metrics for procurement teams Provide on-the-job training to team members on purchasing tasks Collaborate with stakeholders to define procurement requirements Oversee compliance with procurement processes and approvals Engage in supplier negotiations and performance management Support recruitment and development of procurement team members Qualifications Bachelor's degree with 10 years of experience or an advanced degree with 7 years of experience in procurement Familiarity with FAR/DFAR regulations and procurement processes Proven experience in supplier negotiations and performance management Ability to manage geographically dispersed teams and influence outcomes Experience in the defense industry, particularly aerospace Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance and disability coverage 401(k) match and flexible spending accounts Flexible work schedules and paid time off Employee assistance program and parental leave Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
