About the role
The Krusteaz Company is seeking a Senior Distribution and Warehouse Manager to lead logistics, inventory control, deployment, and material coordination teams. This role partners with Supply Chain Planning, Logistics, Customer Service, Quality, and Sales to optimize service and costs for storage, distribution, and delivery of finished goods.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end operations including inbound, storage, staging, and outbound processes to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse staff and subordinate supervisors.
- Set expectations, track results, and manage accountability for all areas of logistics.
- Enforce OSHA guidelines, conduct risk assessments, and maintain site security and emergency protocols.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, oversee cycle counts, reconcile system data, and minimize loss or shrinkage.
- Analyze performance metrics (KPIs) and report to senior leadership on financials, volume, and operational bottlenecks.
- Provide leadership and strategic focus within the supply chain to reduce cost and inventory levels as well as improve service levels.
- Manage financial performance, including budgeting, costing, tracking of expenses and direct labor, and results feedback.
- Manage Deployment function to meet network-wide service and inventory targets.
- Develop and execute companywide plans to improve warehouse operation systems including raw materials and finished goods handling, storage, inventory management, product quality, space utilization, shipping, equipment management, and labor management.
- Collaborate with Plant Managers and DC Managers to develop and execute companywide plans to improve warehouse operation systems including raw materials and finished goods handling, storage, inventory management, product quality, space utilization, shipping, equipment management, and labor management.
- Understand all customer shipping expectations and requirements, consistently meeting or exceeding shipping measures for both the company and our customers.
- Optimize freight (both inbound and outbound) and plan outside storage requirements.
- Develop a collaborative/integrated effort with Manufacturing to achieve targeted Site productivity metrics.
- Coach, teach, and coordinate programs for team members to develop technical, business, and interpersonal skills.
- Solve problems systematically and implement effective solutions to root causes of problems.
- Manage operations to comply with HR regulations and company policies and guidelines.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Requirements
- Thorough working knowledge of supply chain interactions and dynamics.
- Effective team member, builds collaboration across broad and varied functions.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Computer applications involving inventory control, production scheduling, and warehouse management.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- In-depth understanding of industry and company best practices for the warehouse.
- Strong interpersonal skills, i.e. influencing, listening, training, coaching, facilitating, conflict resolution.

Qualifications
- 4-year degree in Supply Chain and Logistics or equivalent manufacturing or distribution experience.
- 8 years of leadership experience in continuously increasing levels of responsibility in Logistics, Distribution, or Operations.

$124,320 - $192,657 annually.
Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday, with some evening and weekend work as needed.
