About the role

Responsibilities
- Leadership & People Management
- Lead supervisors and warehouse/customer teams
- Hire, train, coach, and evaluate employees
- Manage performance, discipline, and employee relations
- Foster meaningful and positive work environment
- Operations Management
- Maintain receiving, warehousing, and shipping operations (policies, coordination, procedures)
- Ensure proper execution and adequate product levels for sales and promotions
- Liaise with procurement, suppliers, warehouse, and freight shipping for material flow
- Manage daily operational execution and continuous workflow improvements
- Manage annual warehouse budget (labor, shipping, services, goods)
- Control costs while maintaining service levels and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with regulatory (federal, state, local) requirements
- Enforce quality standards and documented procedures
- Maintain safety and operational compliance programs
- Strategic Planning
- Execute logistics and distribution strategy
- Develop inventory management strategy and best practices (SME role)
- Develop risk mitigation plans and execute as needed
- Drive systems integration and optimization initiatives
- Support scalable tools aligned with business growth
- Continuous Improvement & Analytics
- Measure and deliver KPIs for warehouse productivity
- Recommend and implement process and system improvements
- Evaluate workflow, space, equipment, and staffing to drive efficiency
- Improve inventory tracking, shipping, receiving, and QA/QC processes
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Management, or related field preferred or equivalent experience and education.
Experience: 10+ years of direct experience in the field.
Skills: Management experience is a must. Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive: A team leader who can positively and productively impact strategic warehousing initiatives. Expertise in a variety of the field’s concepts, practices and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals. Excellent communication, motivation, and interpersonal skills. Self-reliant, good problem solver and results oriented. Demonstrated leadership ability, confidence and executive presence – ability to motivate staff.

Full-time. Days of work are Monday through Friday. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
