Pay
The anticipated base pay compensation range for this position is $134,100.00 – $223,500.00. This role is eligible for an incentive target of up to 20%, based on the achievement of individual and company performance objectives in accordance with the current terms of the incentive program which are subject to change. This position is not eligible for any form of sponsorship now or in the future.

About the Role
The Senior Manager, Analytics Enablement drives enterprise data accessibility, governance, and analytical capability. The Senior Manager leads the team charged with enabling access to high-quality data and tools by overseeing Data Management programs, which ensures the right data is available in cloud platforms and maintained for business use. The role also leads the development and long-term support of analytics tools, dashboards, and applications that enable better decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Leads a team of 6+ senior technical professionals, including data engineers, analysts and technical leads, to deliver analytics solutions, data governance, and enablement programs.
- Oversees the migration and ongoing maintenance of key datasets and analytics tools into the Grainger Data Architecture (GDA), ensuring data integrity, usability, and alignment to business priorities.
- Champions the establishment of data governance practices and leads the creation of a “single source of truth” for critical data assets.
- Drives the development and deployment of custom analytics tools and applications to support cross-functional initiatives, operational insights, and strategic decision-making.
- Partners closely with business leaders, IT, and analytics teams across the enterprise to influence strategic initiatives and promote best practices in analytics.
- Enables self-service analytics across the business by designing scalable training programs, knowledge sharing, and hands-on coaching.
- Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to influence future-state data architecture, process enhancements, and data literacy.
- Fosters an inclusive and high-performance team culture focused on innovation, ownership, and results.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Business, data science, or engineering
- 7+ years in Analytics, operations, or business transformation
- Proven track record of leading large, matrixed teams in complex, data-driven environments (Advanced proficiency)
- Deep expertise in data governance, cloud data platforms, and enterprise data architecture (Advanced proficiency)
- Demonstrated success in leading analytics programs that influence business outcomes (Advanced proficiency)
- Experience with Agile methodologies, change management, and continuous improvement (Intermediate proficiency)
