Sr. Mgr., Actuarial Services - Medicare

For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Mgr., Actuarial Services - Medicare to join the team of a leader in the Hospitals & Medical Centers space. This role will lead Medicare-focused actuarial services with an emphasis on strategic planning, financial analysis, and operational support for health plan programs. You will partner closely with internal stakeholders to strengthen tools, processes, and analytics that inform Medicare Advantage decision-making. The position also includes guiding team development, supporting bid-related activities, and helping evaluate key trends that affect plan performance and regulatory outcomes. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $134,600 – $249,000 annually Responsibilities Contribute to Medicare strategic initiatives Support internal users by owning relevant tools and processes Review and certify Medicare Advantage bids if eligible Train direct reports in technical skills and Medicare program knowledge Calculate financial outcomes using mathematical principles Negotiate capitation or premium rates with regulatory agencies Oversee health plan experience and identify trends Qualifications 6+ years of actuarial experience required ASA or FSA designation required; MAAA highly preferred Experience in healthcare and Medicare Advantage actuarial analysis Strong technical skills in advanced Excel, SQL, and SAS Ability to leverage AI tools for actuarial analysis Experience leading and training teams Benefits Comprehensive health insurance 401K and stock purchase plans Tuition reimbursement Paid time off plus holidays Flexible work schedules, including remote options Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
