Duties and Responsibilities
- Support business development by leading proposal writing efforts and by providing technical expertise
- Lead the development of technologies enabling new Microsystems
- Carry out numerical simulations on various finite element software
- Lead prototype design and evaluation efforts
- Support foundry transition of products
- Contribute to the further development of the engineering teams through continual improvement initiatives
- Analyze a problem as part of research or as part of solution designing for the companys portfolio of services/products
- Validate an idea, strategy, approach, or solution by conducting testing, development, or demonstration
- Create and develop documentation related to the department's work process
- Implement process and procedure to ensure efficiency
- Proactively explore technologies that will be useful to the company
- Proactively conduct innovation initiatives
Qualifications
- Basic 10 years of relevant experience. In the absence of any degree, 14 years of relevant experience is required.
- 2-3 years of printing polymers on MEMS resonators
- 2-3 years of experience using the NanoScribe
- Experience microfabricating technology in cleanroom and/or chemical laboratory setting environments
