Sr MEMS Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities

• Support business development by leading proposal writing efforts and by providing technical expertise
• Lead the development of technologies enabling new Microsystems
• Carry out numerical simulations on various finite element software
• Lead prototype design and evaluation efforts
• Support foundry transition of products
• Contribute to the further development of the engineering teams through continual improvement initiatives
• Analyze a problem as part of research or as part of solution designing for the companys portfolio of services/products
• Validate an idea, strategy, approach, or solution by conducting testing, development, or demonstration
• Create and develop documentation related to the department's work process
• Implement process and procedure to ensure efficiency
• Proactively explore technologies that will be useful to the company
• Proactively conduct innovation initiatives

Qualifications

• Basic 10 years of relevant experience. In the absence of any degree, 14 years of relevant experience is required.
• 2-3 years of printing polymers on MEMS resonators
• 2-3 years of experience using the NanoScribe
• Experience microfabricating technology in cleanroom and/or chemical laboratory setting environments
