Sr Mechanical PE / PM

We are seeking a Sr Mechanical Project Manager PE with 10+ years of experience. Successful candidates will have Engineering Consulting Firms experience with a background in Mechanical Buildings Systems Design (HVAC, Boilers, Chillers, etc.) and 3-5 years of recent Project Management experience overseeing schematics through Construction Administration, Staff, Schedules, Budges, Scope of Work, etc.

Projects Include: Municipal & Federal Buildings, Transportation/Utility Infrastructure, Office Buildings, etc.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate HVAC design requirements with architecture, structure, and other disciplines.
• Prepare engineering design calculations and mechanical system layouts, and detailed engineering reports and narratives.
• Develop HVAC designs from concept through completion of construction.
• Assist in developing project objectives, goals, and documentation policies.
• Support business development initiatives by assisting the RFP process and interview process.
• Actively engage in community and/or industry-specific organizations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from ABET Accredited College or University
• PE License Required
• 10+ years of experience with an MEP or Engineering Consulting firm, Mechanical Building Systems Design Background on complex projects.
• 3-5+ years of Project Management and Construction Administration; overseeing Staff, Schedules, Budges, Scope of Work, etc.
• Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD
• Proven Project experience in Municipal & Federal Buildings, Public Sector, Justice/Civic, Transportation/Utility Infrastructure, and Office Buildings.

• Experience with direct client contact and fostering relationships
