Key Responsibilities
- Assist engineers in designing, building, modifying, and testing prototypes and systems.
- Perform experiments, run diagnostics, calibrate equipment, and collect/analyze data for engineering projects.
- Create detailed lab reports, technical drawings (CAD), and project documentation.
- Support design transfer: design verification and validation activities and design transfer related tasks.
- Sustaining Engineering: support sustaining activities related to current products lines with testing, ECO creation, redlining, and change order implementation.

Education Requirements
- High School Diploma Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred or similarly applicable Technology Studies
Experience Requirements
- Six (6) years minimum experience in medical device capital equipment development support in areas of prototyping building, testing and reporting.
- Proven use of measurement and test equipment such as Metrology, Thermocouple, Manometer, Tensile and Compression, Sound Meter, Fluid Flow Meters and Sensors.
- Use of SolidWorks - Knowledgeable and practiced in activities related to IEC 60601, ISO 13485 standards
- Standard Microsoft Office computer skills including use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Oracle PLM is a plus. Helix ALM is a plus.
- Experience operating 3D printers, slicer operations, maintaining/troubleshooting 3D printer issues.
