Sr Mechanical Engineer
Responsibilities
- Develop models from concept design and design mounts, enclosures for electronics, considering g-shock and vibration.
- Create 3D parts for proof of concept and then machine the part for the final application.
- Design with variable tolerances depending on the application.
- Engage in research and development, focusing on prototyping and design for manufacturability.
Requirements
- Experience in mechanical engineering and mechanical design.
- Proficiency in design software such as Creo and SolidWorks.
- Knowledge of missile airframe design and 3D modeling.
- Familiarity with rapid prototyping and machining parts.
Qualifications
- Over 6 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer.
- Experience with DOD projects.
- Capability to oversee a mechanical design team.
- Experience with design for manufacturability.
Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $75.00/hr.
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join a dedicated mechanical engineering team in Niceville. This role is ideal for someone with experience in rapid prototyping, a in Department of Defense (DOD) projects, and a keen eye for design for manufacturing.
