Sr. Mechanical Engineer-- Food Equipment

What's the Job?

Perform hands-on product design, analysis, and technical development for new machinery and technologies.

Develop product requirements, specifications, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Create detailed CAD models and drawings using Autodesk Inventor, including Bills of Materials.

Conduct tolerance analysis, perform root cause analysis, and develop corrective action plans.

Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to troubleshoot issues and ensure project success.

What's Needed?

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in mechanical design and product development.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling, preferably Autodesk Inventor, and experience with PDM systems like Vault.
• Strong analytical skills, including structural FEA using MSC Nastran or similar tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead and mentor team members.
