About the role
The Sr. Mechanical Engineer will play a crucial role in designing and optimizing equipment and systems related to the Food/Ink industry. This position requires a strong technical background and a commitment to delivering high-quality engineering solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and optimize equipment and systems for the Food/Ink industry
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement custom print design reviews
- Lead projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines
- Use CAD software (SolidWorks/Fusion360 preferred), mechanical simulation tools, and P&ID development to support engineering tasks
- Provide hands-on experience with pumps, piping systems, mixing/blending equipment, and automated machinery
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and adhere to environmental responsibility standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master's degree a plus)
- 7+ years of relevant mechanical engineering experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Chemical processing experience
- Strong proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks/Fusion360 preferred), mechanical simulation tools, and P&ID development
- Hands-on experience with pumps, piping systems, mixing/blending equipment, and automated machinery
- Demonstrated project management experience and ability to lead cross-functional engineering initiatives
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
Qualifications
- Experience in a global leader in the production of printing inks and coatings
- Knowledge of custom print design review and implementation
- Commitment to quality, customer service, and continuous improvement in print chemistry

Pay
Base salary up to $125,000 based on experience
