About the Role
AECOM is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to work on projects involving HVAC and plumbing systems for DoD and Mission Critical Facilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead or assist with the design of HVAC and plumbing systems.
- Perform Construction Administration services including shop drawing reviews and site visits.
- Evaluate design alternatives and ensure quality control within budget.
- Assist in preparing proposals and mentoring junior staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (ABET accredited).
- 6+ years of experience in mechanical design of HVAC and plumbing systems.
- Must be a U.S. citizen due to federal contract requirements.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is preferred.
