Horizon Performance Technologies LLC is currently seeking a Full-time Sr. Mechanical Engineer. Qualified candidates for this position must possess the skills to mechanically design and detail project drawings and be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Generate drawings using 3D SolidWorksPrepare BOM’s and assembly drawingsSome component selection based on critical design requirementsCalculate the design required for conveyance, washing, heating, and structural systemsProcess drawing releases and revisions to drawings and BOM’sCheck drawings and calculations created by peersObtain quotes from vendors for purchased componentsWork with purchasing to execute purchase ordersProvide technical support to sales and manufacturingMaintain and organize project drawing files and folders, as well as drawing archivesCreate and maintain standard drawingsWork with vendors on manufacturing capabilitiesOther duties may be assigned Skills 3D SolidWorks experience a plus2D AutoCAD experienceFamiliar with sheet metal and structural designFamiliar with conveyance, heating, and washing systemsSkilled using spreadsheet and word processing softwareAbility to work independentlyAttention to detailCapability to meet deadlinesExcellent written & verbal communication skills Education Engineering degree requiredPE License a plus, but not required Horizon Performance Technologies LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer that offers a competitive salary as well as comprehensive, flexible employee benefits.
