Sr. Material Control Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Production Schedules.
• Validate availability of parts for work orders.
• Receive and inspect incoming parts.
• Maintain inventory levels and order parts.
• Prepare work order kits.
• Prepare cycle counts and count parts.
• Store materials and keep workspaces organized.
• Implement visual controls.
• Manage inventory using lean principles.
• Use forklift to store heavy materials.
• Avoid scrap and maintain high productivity.
• Escalate problems and communicate progress.
• Accurately transact data and update dashboards.
• Train and support others.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of warehouse or material control experience; preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• 1-2 years of experience, or training, in document control.
• Forklift certified.
• Excel proficiency.
• Limited Lean manufacturing experience preferred.
