Sr. Marketing Consultant
About the Role
LPL’s Strategic Wealth Services department is seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Consultant who is confident being client-facing and adaptable to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. In this agency-style role, you will serve as the marketing partner for several high-profile financial advisor brands, combining strategic marketing knowledge with digital and traditional best practices to execute comprehensive marketing strategies.
Responsibilities
- Act as the marketing relationship manager and strategist for advisor firms, handling all client communications.
- Curate and implement digital marketing editorial calendars for blogs, e-newsletters, email campaigns, digital ads, and social media platforms, aligning with advisor goals.
- Create traditional advertisements (print, billboard, radio) and negotiate rates with publication companies.
- Implement prospect engagement, niche prospecting processes, and workflows to drive business growth for LPL and advisors.
- Establish and measure ROI and KPIs, including email click-through rates, social media engagement, and website traffic.
- Develop and produce each advisor’s marketing plan based on their preferences, integrating LPL’s tools.
- Schedule and host bi-weekly discussions with advisors.
- Maintain advisor brand (logo, design treatment), website, and blog in collaboration with internal and external parties.
- Collaborate with advisor office staff to ensure cohesive messaging and provide coaching for events and seminars.
- Work with compliance to ensure content, brand, and messaging comply with SEC, LPL policy, and FINRA rules.
- Collaborate with fellow marketing consultants to enhance programs based on advisor feedback.
- Occasional travel may be required (less than 10%).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in marketing and digital marketing.
- Experience with CRM, inbound marketing tools, and web management.
Skills
- Knowledge of e-commerce, social media advertising, PPC, SEO, and SEM.
- Understanding of offset and digital print.
- Experience in event planning and webinars (a plus).
- Working knowledge of web design principles, best practices, and content management platforms.
- Ability to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics and Google AdWords.
Preferences
- Familiarity with Salesforce and AdvisorStream.
- Experience in financial services.
Pay
Pay Range: $76,838.00 - $128,132.00. Actual base salary varies based on factors including relevant skills, prior experience, education, internal peer benchmarks, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
