Conduct comprehensive analysis of electricity market trends and other ISO/RTO market rules and practices to identify opportunities or inform design decisions.
Work independently in the performance of complex studies and analysis of issues.
Offer concepts and strategies pertaining to market design that will enable PJM to remain at the top of its field.
Possess a working knowledge of PJM markets and understanding of the PJM Agreements and Tariffs.
Apply expertise in solving new and complex problems and develop innovative strategies to evolve the PJM markets.
Develop position papers to support market design alternatives and facilitate internal decision making on complex market design matters.

Manages the conflicting expectations of the various sectors represented by the market participants.
Develops and delivers presentations on complex ideas to internal and external stakeholders.
Affords assistance in the development of revisions to the PJM governing documents to support proposed market design changes.
Works closely with PJM legal counsel in the development of FERC filings to support proposed market design changes, including drafting and revising transmittal letters and affidavits.

Leads the implementation of complex market design initiatives, driving cross-functional internal teams to consensus on selected market design approaches.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics, Mathematics or equivalent work experience.
5 years of experience in an Engineer/Analyst position.
Experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis.
Ability to use mathematical and electrical theory.
Ability to troubleshoot and provide technical support.

MS degree in Engineering or at least 8 years of experience as a Sr. Engineer/Sr. Analyst.
Experience with PJM operations, markets, and planning functions.
