Job Summary
Initiate, develop, and implement manufacturing processes and automated machinery to support new and existing products. Plan, implement, and maintain relative manufacturing engineering activities in order to meet plant targets, initiating and implementing action plans for continuous improvement of relevant processes.
How You Will Make an Impact
- Translate production manufacturing process requirements into actionable process designs and automated machinery.
- Design and implement overall factory processes and equipment according to sound lean principles and standards, supporting necessary industrialization activities of associated and affected product specifications.
- Ensure the installation, start-up, validation, production handover, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes, equipment, and automated machinery according to applicable production control plans and standards.
- Maintains records for purposes of monitoring, analyzing, and reporting manufacturing engineering and production process performance, initiating and implementing control measures to improve manufacturing engineering and production process performance.
Qualifications
- B.S. Degree in industrial or mechanical engineering required.
- 5-10 Years of industrial experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Works safely and keeps work area clear of potential hazards, knows and understands company EHS policies.
- Knowledge of operating methods and procedures as they relate to their department.
- Demonstrated ability to perform assigned job functions in a manner which will consistently meet supervisor expectations.
- Deals effectively and cooperatively with established policies and procedures. Interfaces and cooperates with first line supervision effectively.
- Analytical thinking to introduce new innovations to production processes.
