SR Process Engineer

About the role

The successful candidate will join a dynamic engineering team in the execution of client projects. This person will execute process designs primarily within the consumer products industry.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and analyze data to make sound process design decisions aligned with company, client, and project objectives.
• Determine feasibility of design, identify potential process upsets and malfunctions, and incorporate appropriate remediations.
• Apply commercially available technology for process execution.

Requirements

• B.S. in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in the consumer products industry preferred.
• Experience in leading or executing process designs in the form of engineering calculations documented on PFD’s, P&ID’s, general arrangement drawings, specifications, design basis, and associated lists.
• Knowledge of typical chemicals and fluids used in consumer products applications, interactions with materials of construction, and proper design considerations.
• Fluency with AutoCAD and Fathom.
• Understanding of fluid control valves and instrumentation.
• Familiarity with specification and sizing of pumps, heat exchangers, vessels, and other process equipment.

Qualifications

• Great customer relationship skills/management experience.
• Preferably on-site, in plant, and startup experience.
