About the role

As a Sr Manufacturing Engineer at Panduit, you will be part of a team working on complex automation projects utilizing mechatronics, robots, and cobots. Your responsibilities include performing complex engineering assignments, applying advanced engineering principles, conducting technical investigations, planning, managing, and completing projects within timelines and budgets. You will also provide technical presentations, guidance, and support to internal and external customers and suppliers, serve as an expert resource for less experienced engineers, research, analyze, recommend, and implement new engineering practices to improve business operations and goals.

Responsibilities

  • Perform complex engineering assignments, apply advanced engineering principles, and conduct complex technical investigations.
  • Plan, conduct, and manage technical portions of assigned projects; make recommendations as needed.
  • Drive completion of all phases within the timeline and budget.
  • Provide technical presentations, guidance, and support to internal and external customers and suppliers.
  • Serve as an expert resource for less experienced engineers.
  • Research, analyze, recommend, and implement new engineering practices to improve business operations and goals.

Requirements

  • Education: BS in Engineering (BSME, EE or MET), preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Controls Engineering.
  • Experience: 8+ years in engineering mechatronics systems, including:
    • Hands-on Commissioning: Demonstrated experience taking designs from the CAD screen through physical build, wiring, plumbing, and full on-site commissioning.
    • Plant Floor Fluency: Minimum of 3+ years of active, hands-on experience deploying, debugging, and commissioning custom equipment directly on a manufacturing or production floor.

Pay

The expected annual base salary range for this role is $95,000 - $120,000. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
