Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and maintain methods, operation sequence and processes in the manufacturing or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies
- Develop strong communications with internal teams to estimate manufacturing costs, determine time standards and make recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines
- Develop and improve manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree, plus 6 months relevant experience
- Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire
- Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
- U.S. citizenship is required due to the nature of work performed within our facilities
Skills
- Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes and electrical/mechanical components, systems and applications
- Solid understanding of lean techniques and statistical analysis
Pay
USD $94,056.00/Yr. - USD $104,343.00/Yr. (Actual pay may vary based on experience and other factors including geographic location.)
