Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree, plus 6 months relevant experience.
  • Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

Help make the technologies, products and services that make a difference. Develop, implement and maintain methods, operation sequence and processes in the manufacturing or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies.

  • Develop strong communications with internal teams to estimate manufacturing costs, determine time standards and make recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines.
  • Apply knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards to improve manufacturing methods.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to estimate costs, define time standards, and recommend tooling and process improvements.
  • Identify opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree.
  • Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes and electrical/mechanical components, systems, and applications.
  • Solid understanding of lean techniques and statistical analysis.
  • Experience estimating manufacturing costs and determining time standards.
  • Familiarity with tooling and process requirements for new or existing product lines.

Skills

  • Hands-on experience with lean manufacturing techniques and statistical process analysis.
  • Advanced decision-making skills applied to complex, creative manufacturing challenges.
  • Proven ability to evaluate and improve assembly methods and production equipment capabilities.
  • Experience supporting both new product introduction and continuous improvement of existing product lines.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development in manufacturing engineering disciplines.

Pay

Target salary range: USD $85,000.00/Yr. - USD $90,000.00/Yr.

Schedule

This position is fully on-site with a 9/80 schedule (every other Friday off, if desired).
