Job Responsibilities
- Leading troubleshooting for tooling usage
- Advising maintenance technicians on machine repairs
- Assisting with troubleshooting of part quality issues
- Mentoring machine technicians on proper machine setup
- Aiding in the development of maintenance technicians
- Aiding in the standard work related to machine repair to decrease downtime
Qualifications
- Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university with 3 years of experience working as a manufacturing or process engineer
- or
- HS Degree with 7+ years of same mfg. experince
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with AutoCAD or Solidworks
- Previous experience with grinding processes / tooling in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Led Six Sigma project experience
- Experience with 3D CAD modeling and the creation of detailed drawings
- One plus year experience collaborating and participating in engineering projects
- Ability to gather and analyze relevant data of manufacturing operations and processes in order to optimize throughput, reduce scrap, and improve quality while ensuring the safety of plant personnel
