About the role

As a Sr. Manager, Wealth Advisor at Schwab Wealth Advisory, you will manage complex client relationships, deliver holistic financial planning, and provide tailored investment guidance. You will collaborate with an experienced advisory team to support clients through intricate financial decisions and help them focus on long-term goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage ongoing client relationships and deliver holistic financial planning
  • Provide tailored investment guidance aligned with Schwab’s approach to investing
  • Collaborate with an experienced advisory team to support clients through complex financial decisions
  • Communicate with clarity and empathy, driving action and deepening trust with clients
  • Ensure service consistency and follow-through on complex, multi-workstream client needs
  • Develop and communicate holistic financial plans for high-complexity scenarios
  • Translate sophisticated planning and investment concepts into clear, tailored guidance
  • Exercise sound judgment and risk awareness, recognizing when situations exceed scope or require additional expertise

Requirements

  • CFP® designation or CFA® designation
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Active FINRA Series 7 license (obtainable within 120 days)
  • Active FINRA Series 66 license (or equivalent) (obtainable within 120 days)

  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex client relationships
  • Ability to prioritize high-impact activities and coordinate across partners
  • Proven ability to develop and communicate holistic financial plans
  • Demonstrates a senior learning mindset and seeks input from peers and leaders
  • Exercises sound judgment and recognizes when situations require additional expertise
