About the role
The Sr. Manager, Talent and Belonging at Intuitive will shape how we engage and support our employees, building a workplace where everyone has the opportunity to grow and succeed. Reporting to Intuitive's Global Talent Management Organization, this role supports a broad range of employee communities and ensures talent programs reflect the full diversity of our workforce and the patients we serve.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a lead for Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) at Intuitive
- Advise and monitor all aspects of ERG health, including membership growth, employee engagement strategies, leadership and resource planning
- Provide ad hoc coaching and advice to ERG leaders on an ongoing basis
- Partner with ERGs, Marketing, Employee Communications & Engagement, and other stakeholders to develop and execute on key “cultural moments” throughout the year
- Act as a belonging, inclusion, and diversity advocate and resource for other HR functions such as Total Rewards, Global Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, and HR Business Partners, influencing our programs, practices, and support offerings
- Partner with Global Talent Management to embed Belonging, Inclusion, and Diversity principles into talent review cycles, succession planning, and high-potential identification processes, ensuring equitable access to development opportunities across underrepresented groups
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to design and implement inclusive hiring practices, diverse sourcing strategies, and structured interview frameworks that reduce bias and improve representation across all levels of the organization
- Supervise external agency supporting these strategies
- Identify and establish partnerships with external organizations who provide support and resources for underrepresented groups
- Effectively connect these partners with internal stakeholders to maximize and measure the value of these partnerships, and ensure financial investments are providing ROI
- Represent Intuitive in external organizations and benchmarking processes in assigned areas of expertise
- Use data and analytics to track program effectiveness, surface workforce insights, and build a compelling narrative around the impact of belonging initiatives on talent outcomes and business results
- Contribute to cross-team projects and initiatives, such as events, newsletters, trainings, and other key deliverables
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience and three years in Talent Management and/or Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) or related roles
- Experience with employee resource groups (ERGs) and how to best support and advocate for employees from underrepresented identities within a corporate
- Passionate about talent management practices including succession planning, performance calibration, career pathing, and leadership development, with the ability to identify and address equity gaps within these processes
- Experience designing or contributing to talent programs such as mentoring, sponsorship, rotational assignments, or leadership acceleration programs aimed at increasing representation and retention of underrepresented talent
- Strong communication, facilitation and influencing skills necessary to collaborate and influence all levels of the organization, including VP+
- Parenthood ability to maintain relationships with external organizations, vendors and consultants, including budget oversight
- Experience in public speaking with small- and large-sized groups (in-person & virtually)
- Proven success maintaining relationships with external organizations, vendors and consultants, including budget oversight
- Strong collaboration and cross-cultural skills to work across stakeholders, organizations and geographies
- Poven ability to translate program data into meaningful business insights and narratives
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
