The Sr. Manager, Strategy & Business Transformation serves as a key leader responsible for translating strategic priorities into measurable business outcomes across the Water Solutions & Services organization. This role drives enterprise-wide strategic initiatives, business planning processes, operating governance, and cross-functional transformation programs that support growth, operational excellence, and customer-centric innovation. The leader partners closely with senior executives across Product Management, Marketing, Engineering, Operations, and Commercial teams to align strategic objectives, prioritize investments, monitor execution, and accelerate business results. The role acts as a catalyst for organizational effectiveness, ensuring that long-range growth plans are successfully converted into actionable programs and operating rhythms across the business.
Responsibilities
- Developing growth strategies and plans by identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs.
- Managing and retaining relationships with existing clients to increase the client base.
- Writing business proposals and negotiating with stakeholders.
- Researching business opportunities and viable income streams.
- Following industry trends locally and internationally, and reporting on successes and areas needing improvements.
- Leading and managing a team, providing guidance, feedback, and support.
- Setting goals and KPIs for team members and monitoring performance.
- Fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Developing and implementing training programs to keep team members updated on trends and strategies.
- Strategic decision making by assessing complex situations, considering long-term implications, and making decisions that align with the organization’s vision and goals.
- Effective communication, including articulating vision, expectations, and feedback to motivate and engage team members, as well as active listening and openness to input from all levels of the organization.
- Fostering team growth through mentoring, providing opportunities for professional growth, and creating an environment where continuous learning is encouraged and valued.
- Planning and scheduling by creating project plans, defining milestones, and establishing timelines to ensure tasks are well-organized and aligned with strategic objectives.
- Budgeting by managing project budgets, allocating resources effectively, and monitoring expenses to optimize financial outcomes.
- Resource allocation by efficiently distributing personnel, tools, and other resources to achieve project goals, balancing competing priorities, and adapting as needed.
- End-to-end project management by leading improvement projects from initiation to completion, monitoring progress, addressing challenges, and ensuring timely delivery of measurable results.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, or a related field with at least 5 years of experience, including at least 2 years as a people manager or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.
Pay
The salary range for this position is $135,000 to $150,000 plus bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience, and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
