About the Role

We are seeking a proficient professional to lead procurement strategy for Store Construction, Design, and Architecture categories, balancing commercial value, project timelines, quality, risk, and stakeholder needs. This role involves partnering with global and regional stakeholders, executing sourcing initiatives, driving cost savings, and leading supplier negotiations and contract management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead procurement strategy for Store Construction, Design, and Architecture categories.
  • Partner with global and regional stakeholders to align sourcing strategies and support execution across new stores, remodels, relocations, and rollouts.
  • Own and execute sourcing initiatives, RFx events, bid analysis, supplier recommendations, negotiations, and final award recommendations.
  • Drive cost savings, cost avoidance, value creation, supplier consolidation, and broader procurement target initiatives.
  • Lead supplier negotiations and contract management, including commercial terms, pricing, scope alignment, service expectations, and execution readiness.
  • Build strong relationships with general contractors, architects, millworkers, fixture suppliers, installers, and other construction-related vendors.
  • Partner with internal business stakeholders to identify and execute value-generating opportunities.
  • Develop business cases quantifying savings, avoided cost, operational benefits, and procurement impact.
  • Present sourcing strategies, supplier recommendations, savings opportunities, and business cases to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Oversee sourcing workstreams and major procurement initiatives, ensuring stakeholder alignment and timely execution.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities across intake, sourcing, vendor engagement, approvals, contracting, and project handoff.
  • Use spend data, project pipeline visibility, supplier performance, and market insights to identify sourcing opportunities and improve decision-making.
  • Lead, coach, and develop procurement team members, establishing best practices and governance across Store Construction procurement activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 8-10 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Store Construction, Store Development, Architecture, Construction Services, or related categories.
  • Strong experience in construction-related procurement categories, including general contractors, architectural services, construction materials, store fixtures, furniture, millwork, lighting, flooring, installations, and related services.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence Director, VP, and executive-level stakeholders across complex initiatives.
  • Experience managing supplier relationships and driving accountability across cost, quality, service, timeline, and performance expectations.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, including spend analysis, bid evaluation, business case development, and executive-ready reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

  • Deep expertise in store construction, store development, or architecture/procurement categories.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and build alignment across complex organizations.
  • High degree of business acumen, commercial judgment, and ownership.
  • Ability to create structure, improve processes, and scale procurement support across a high-volume project pipeline.
  • Strong team-building skills and ability to develop procurement talent while remaining hands-on with complex sourcing and negotiation work.

Pay

Base Pay Range: $115,000.00 - $130,000.00
