Sr. Manager, Procurement

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Manager, Procurement to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space. This role will lead procurement operations for a complex, highly regulated environment where compliance, supplier performance, and execution discipline are critical. The Sr. Manager will manage a team, partner with internal stakeholders to define requirements, and drive sourcing and purchasing activities that support business objectives. Success in this role will depend on strong supplier negotiation skills, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to improve team capability and procurement outcomes.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Manage the procurement team and establish performance metrics
• Provide on-the-job training to team members to enhance their skills
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define procurement requirements
• Ensure compliance with procurement processes and approvals
• Engage in supplier negotiations and performance management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 7+ years of experience
• Significant knowledge of procurement processes, including FAR/DFAR
• Experience managing CPFF/IF/AF and FFP purchase orders
• Proven track record in supplier management and recovery efforts
• Experience working with cross-functional teams

Pay

$132,400 – $251,600 annually
