Sr. Manager, Software Engineering - Machine Learning Simulations
About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Manager, Software Engineering - Machine Learning Simulations to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will guide a high-performing engineering organization focused on simulation capabilities that support critical launch and decision-making processes. You will partner closely with technical and business stakeholders to improve the reliability, accuracy, scalability, and cost efficiency of a core platform used across the lending lifecycle. The position also calls for translating complex analytical needs into self-serve workflows that broaden access and increase operational efficiency.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.
Responsibilities
- Own the engineering roadmap for the company's marketplace simulation platform
- Lead and develop a team of engineers across various technical domains
- Enhance the reliability and accuracy of simulations for launch decisions
- Reduce simulation costs while managing increased usage
- Expand simulation capabilities across the lending process and new loan products
- Transform complex queries into self-serve simulation workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- 8+ years in software engineering, including 3+ years in management
- Experience leading engineering teams for backend or distributed systems
- Proven track record delivering cross-functional platform or infrastructure programs
- Proficiency in Python, Kotlin, AWS, Kubernetes, Databricks, and Spark

Pay
$195,300 – $270,400 annually
