Sr. Manager, Software Engineering

Key Responsibilities

• Review business requirements and develop functional and technical design documentation.
• Design and implement testing procedures for APIs, abstractions, and integration patterns, including end-to-end and integration tests.
• Participate in design reviews to provide input on requirements, product designs, schedules, and potential issues.
• Ensure team productivity, predictability, and delivery of high-quality results.
• Review code and maintain accountability for the team’s development and testing activities.
• Participate in proof of concepts and technical evaluations of new technologies.

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications: 8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 11+ years of relevant work experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD, 8+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree, OR 11+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in reviewing business requirements and developing technical documentation.
• Experience in designing and implementing testing procedures for APIs and integration patterns.
• Experience in participating in design reviews and providing input on product designs and schedules.
• Experience in leading teams to ensure productivity and high-quality delivery.
• Experience in code review and accountability for development/testing activities.
• Experience in technical evaluations and proof of concepts for new technologies.
• Experience in managing distributed computing challenges.
• Experience in fostering team collaboration and meeting business needs.
• Experience in delivering robust solutions in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in integrating emerging technologies into software engineering practices.

Pay

The estimated salary range for this position is $162,500.00 to $ 260,400.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable).
