Sr Manager, Retention Marketing

About the role

The Paramount+ Global Retention team is seeking a highly analytical Senior Marketing Manager to plan, develop, and optimize lifecycle programs for subscribers. The role focuses on using data analysis to uncover strategies that drive engagement and reduce churn. This is an onsite position in New York, NY.

Responsibilities

• Plan and develop a global lifecycle strategy across multiple marketing channels, emphasizing the early‑tenured subscriber experience.
• Use data analysis to extract and evaluate insights from customer data and research, identifying opportunities to optimize the lifecycle journey.
• Support ongoing testing for each channel and segment to ensure continuous innovation and optimization.
• Conduct retention trend analysis and reporting.
• Analyze marketing campaign performance and trends, communicating effectiveness and ROI.
• Handle additional projects and duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience in a CRM or lifecycle marketing role, preferably with a subscription product.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Very proficient analytical skills, with the ability to distill, synthesize, and draw conclusions from diverse data sources.
• Experience using segmentation to create complex subscriber journeys.
• Deep knowledge of multiple marketing channels and the ability to optimize new capabilities and technologies.
• Experience managing relationships in a cross‑functional environment.
• Ability to multi‑task and adapt to a dynamic environment with multiple priorities.
• Exemplary oral and written communication skills.
• Passion for the media and entertainment industry.

Pay

Salary range: $98,000 – $123,000. The hiring salary range applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay depends on factors such as geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
