About the role

As a District Manager, you will be accountable for achieving team sales targets within a defined geographic area. Serving as the primary sales leader, you will oversee the daily operations of the field sales team to ensure consistent execution and performance. We are seeking a results-driven candidate who goes above and beyond to meet responsibilities, demonstrates situational adaptability, and makes thoughtful, timely decisions aligned with the organization’s best interests.

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive sales strategies and budgets to meet and exceed sales goals
  • Review and authorize sales agreements, ensuring profitability and strategic alignment
  • Occasionally engage in direct sales activities with priority accounts
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and mentorship to direct reports to optimize their performance and growth
  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive team culture that reflects the company’s core values
  • Take full ownership of your assigned district, including market share growth, financial performance, safety, sales, and strategic development of your business segment

Requirements

  • Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Requires at least 8 years related experience
  • Must have an understanding of the business impact of sales contracts and selling expenses
  • Must be able to manage the work of team members to optimize performance
  • Requires expert abilities with building relationships, listening, persuading, negotiating and managing time
  • Requires knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services
  • This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems
  • Knows principles and processes for providing customer service
  • This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication
  • Requires substantial industry and product knowledge
  • Must be able to use Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management software

Qualifications

  • Compensation: The total compensation range for this position is $200,640 - $263,340 and will be based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and education. Under the plan, target compensation is anticipated to be 75% base salary and 25% commission. New hires are guaranteed to receive at least the target commission for six months. The competitive compensation plan also includes an uncapped bonus structure based on performance exceeding 100% of the plan across three individual categories. The bonus amount increases as performance surpasses quota, so the potential payout is not fixed and can grow as over-quota achievements increase.

Depending on date of hire, and subject to applicable eligibility requirements, new employees in this role also receive up to: 12 days paid time off, 2 paid well-being days, 1 paid volunteer day, 12 paid holidays, and 3 floating holidays per year.
