About the role
As a District Manager, you will be accountable for achieving team sales targets within a defined geographic area. Serving as the primary sales leader, you will oversee the daily operations of the field sales team to ensure consistent execution and performance. We are seeking a results-driven candidate who goes above and beyond to meet responsibilities, demonstrates situational adaptability, and makes thoughtful, timely decisions aligned with the organization’s best interests.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive sales strategies and budgets to meet and exceed sales goals
- Review and authorize sales agreements, ensuring profitability and strategic alignment
- Occasionally engage in direct sales activities with priority accounts
- Provide coaching, guidance, and mentorship to direct reports to optimize their performance and growth
- Cultivate a positive and inclusive team culture that reflects the company’s core values
- Take full ownership of your assigned district, including market share growth, financial performance, safety, sales, and strategic development of your business segment
Requirements
- Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Requires at least 8 years related experience
- Must have an understanding of the business impact of sales contracts and selling expenses
- Must be able to manage the work of team members to optimize performance
- Requires expert abilities with building relationships, listening, persuading, negotiating and managing time
- Requires knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services
- This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems
- Knows principles and processes for providing customer service
- This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication
- Requires substantial industry and product knowledge
- Must be able to use Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management software
Qualifications
- Compensation: The total compensation range for this position is $200,640 - $263,340 and will be based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and education. Under the plan, target compensation is anticipated to be 75% base salary and 25% commission. New hires are guaranteed to receive at least the target commission for six months. The competitive compensation plan also includes an uncapped bonus structure based on performance exceeding 100% of the plan across three individual categories. The bonus amount increases as performance surpasses quota, so the potential payout is not fixed and can grow as over-quota achievements increase.
