Sr. Manager, R&D AI Solutions & Analytics
About the role
At Acadia, we're dedicated to transforming scientific discoveries into impactful innovations that make a difference for underserved neurological and rare disease communities worldwide. Our commercial portfolio includes the first and only FDA-approved treatments for Parkinson’s disease psychosis and Rett syndrome. We're advancing the next generation of therapies with a growing pipeline targeting Alzheimer’s disease psychosis, Lewy body dementia psychosis, and other unmet patient needs.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver analytics and AI-enabled solutions supporting Clinical Development, Clinical Operations, Portfolio Strategy, and broader R&D functions
- Develop and scale dashboards, operational metrics, and analytics products that improve visibility into clinical and operational performance
- Support the implementation and expansion of AI-powered use cases including clinical operations copilots, enrollment analytics, workflow automation, and decision-support tools
- Identify and translate high-value R&D business opportunities into analytics and AI solutions in partnership with key stakeholders
- Contribute to rapid prototyping, proof-of-concept development, and innovation initiatives aligned with enterprise R&D priorities
- Drive adoption and continuous improvement of analytics and AI solutions through performance measurement and user feedback
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, Business Analytics, or a related field
- 6+ years of experience developing and operationalizing analytics or AI-enabled solutions within pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated healthcare environments
- Hands-on experience building analytics data products, dashboards, and decision-support tools
- Familiarity with data standards such as CDISC and FHIR
- Experience applying analytics in R&D-intensive industries such as biopharma, healthcare, or technology
Skills
- Willingness and ability to travel both domestically and internationally
Physical Requirements
- Regular standing, walking, sitting, and the use of hands for handling or operating equipment
- Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 20 pounds
