About the role

The Sr. Manager, Project Manager - Global Payment Network Product Solutions is responsible for managing pieces of the Prioritization, Intake and Triage process within the Product Development Life Cycle. They support the product, technology, and risk management teams by coordinating well-managed deliveries across multiple functions and business schemes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage intake and prioritization coming from the Enterprise requiring horizontal support from Network Products and Platform teams; coordinate across job disciplines to move intent through the pipeline
  • Maintain a governance model to manage the portfolio and facilitate prioritization of most critical initiatives, managing stakeholder community expectations
  • Leverage problem-solving and influencing skills to ensure Intake process supports business and delivery needs while ensuring intent is well defined and solutioned prior to team execution
  • Collaborate with all levels of the organization to monitor and manage the prioritized items, plan contingencies, facilitate scope changes, and govern resource expenditure
  • Own and manage the enablement of the prioritization, intake and triage mechanism
  • Build and maintain high trust relationships with partner teams across the Enterprise to keep abreast of current and upcoming strategies. Effectively communicate across all levels of the organization
  • Exposure to influencing senior level executives
  • Lead and coach a team of project managers

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
  • At least 6 years of Project Management experience OR 6 years or Program Management experience
  • At least 3 years of People Management experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's or MBA degree
  • 7+ years of Project Management experience or Program Management experience
  • 2+ years of Product Management experience
  • 5+ years of People Management experience
  • PMP, Lean, Agile, or Six Sigma certification
  • Strong written and oral communication skills

Benefits

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non-discretionary depending on the plan.

Pay

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
