About the role

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Senior Product Leader to oversee and elevate all aspects of Product Management within Duro Dyne on Long Island. This role is responsible for leading cross-functional teams and driving product strategy, development, and execution to align with business objectives and customer needs. The ideal candidate will build, guide, and elevate the product function to modern standards while partnering closely with Sales and Marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Own and lead the full product lifecycle, including product and category management.
  • Define and execute product strategy aligned with company goals.
  • Drive pricing, positioning, and portfolio optimization.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and R&D teams to lead projects that drive innovation and execution.
  • Support and accelerate new product development initiatives.
  • Ensure technical feasibility and alignment with customer needs.
  • Establish robust reporting frameworks and leverage analytics to inform decision-making.
  • Track KPIs related to product performance, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead quality control and inspection processes.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with Marketing and Sales to ensure go-to-market alignment.
  • Support technical sales efforts and customer engagement strategies.
  • Act as a key partner to the Senior Operations Leader (peer-level collaboration).
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing product team.
  • Professionalize the product function using modern best practices.
  • Provide strategic direction and oversight for project-based work.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of Product Management experience.
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong commercial mindset with a focus on execution and customer outcomes.
  • Experience leading complex projects and product initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Experience in HVAC or related technical/industrial industries (preferred but not required).
  • Engineering background or strong technical aptitude.
  • Bachelor’s degree (Engineering preferred) and/or MBA.
  • Experience in Quality Control & Inspection, CAD/Product Development, and Technical Sales.

Pay

This is a salaried exempt role with a starting salary range of $143,200–187,000 annually. Factors affecting starting salary include geography/market and the candidate’s skills, education, experience, and other qualifications. Employees in this role are also eligible for a 15% annual bonus under the Company’s applicable plan and are not eligible for overtime.
