About the role

We are seeking a Product Manager to set and execute product and category strategy for Duro Dyne in support of the Senior Product Leader. This role translates business objectives, market insights, customer needs, and competitive intelligence into clear strategic priorities, product roadmaps, lifecycle plans, and commercial actions. The Product Manager will lead new product development and partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Customer Service to improve portfolio performance and deliver sustainable growth.

The ideal candidate brings demonstrated success developing product or category strategies, strong product management fundamentals, a commercial mindset, technical curiosity, and the ability to influence and execute through cross-functional collaboration. This position reports to the Senior Product Leader.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and recommend product and category strategies that support the Senior Product Leader’s vision, business objectives, growth priorities, and long-term portfolio direction.
  • Translate market, customer, competitive, financial, and operational insights into clear strategic choices, priorities, roadmaps, and measurable action plans.
  • Partner with the Senior Product Leader to evaluate strategic opportunities, build business cases, align stakeholders, and adjust product direction based on performance and changing market conditions.
  • Support the Senior Product Leader in managing assigned product categories and lifecycle activities, including product roadmaps, assortment planning, pricing analysis, positioning, and portfolio optimization.
  • Monitor product performance, market trends, customer feedback, and competitive activity to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Lead NPD/NPI initiatives within assigned product categories and coordinate with Engineering, R&D, Quality, and Operations to support new product development and product improvement initiatives.
  • Help define product requirements, business cases, technical documentation needs, launch readiness, and customer-facing materials.
  • Support issue resolution by gathering data, coordinating inputs, and tracking follow-through across functions.
  • Maintain product performance reporting, dashboards, and category-level analyses; use data and customer insights to support recommendations related to pricing, inventory, profitability, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Track key product metrics and prepare clear updates for the Senior Product Leader and cross-functional partners.
  • Partner with Quality, Compliance, Engineering, and Operations to support product quality, documentation, and regulatory alignment.
  • Identify recurring product issues, customer pain points, and opportunities for corrective action or continuous improvement.
  • Support customer satisfaction initiatives by translating feedback into product and process improvement recommendations.
  • Work closely with Sales and Marketing to drive and support product launches, sales enablement, customer communications, and go-to-market execution.
  • Provide product information, competitive insights, and technical support to internal stakeholders and customer-facing teams.
  • Collaborate across functions to ensure alignment on product priorities, timelines, launch deliverables, and customer needs.
  • Manage assigned product-related projects, timelines, action items, and follow-ups with guidance from the Senior Product Leader.
  • Contribute to improved product management processes, tools, and operating rhythms.
  • Prepare concise updates, recommendations, and materials for internal business reviews.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management, category management, technical product, sales, marketing, engineering, or related commercial experience.
  • Experience supporting product lifecycle activities, new product development, market analysis, pricing, or go-to-market execution.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated experience successfully developing and implementing product, category, or commercial strategy, including setting priorities and translating strategy into executable plans that support senior product leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (Engineering preferred) and/or MBA.
  • Experience in HVAC or related technical/industrial industries (preferred but not required).
  • Engineering background or strong technical aptitude.
  • Experience in Quality Control & Inspection, CAD/Product Development, or Technical Sales.

Pay

This is a salaried exempt role with a starting salary range of $93,600–$122,850 annually. Factors affecting starting salary include geography/market and the candidate’s skills, education, experience, and other qualifications. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus under the Company’s applicable plan and are not eligible for overtime.
