About the role

NextEra Analytics is the optimization and analytics team for the world’s largest renewable energy generator. This position is responsible for providing product ownership and vision in planning and overseeing the successful execution of various small to medium-sized projects throughout the project life cycle. You will guide project prioritization, coordination, and collaboration with internal teams such as Applied Math, Science, and Engineering & Technology to ensure timely and effective execution within the Agile development framework.

This role includes direct people leadership responsibilities for a team of junior Product Managers, covering hiring support, onboarding, mentoring, performance management, professional development, resource planning, and alignment with product strategy and organizational objectives. You will also provide status updates and presentations to varying levels of management and collaborate with other business units to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget.

Responsibilities

• Oversee research and product discovery across internal business units and external parties, and document requirements
• Oversee data analysis to inform data-driven decisions and define insights
• Oversee product roadmap for multiple initiatives
• Serve as a subject matter expert on the competitor landscape, market trends, and customer/partner needs across multiple domains
• Define and communicate ongoing product vision
• Influence discussions at the executive level
• Manage and mentor a subset or all of the product team across multiple domains
• Influence modern product processes to improve efficiency and shared success within the technology organization
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 10+ years of relevant experience
• 2+ years of leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree
• 4+ years of leadership experience
• Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
