Sr. Manager, Product Management - Air Travel Commerce Content, Remote
About the role
The Sr. Manager, Product Management – Air Travel Commerce is responsible for the end-to-end execution of complex air product initiatives across BCD’s travel commerce platform. This role owns initiative planning, requirements definition, delivery coordination, and rollout readiness for major air capabilities, including NDC, low-cost carrier integrations, and servicing enhancements.
Success is measured by delivery quality, operational readiness, and scalable adoption of air capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end execution of major air product initiatives, from planning through global rollout
- Translate initiative objectives into clear epics, features, requirements, and delivery plans
- Lead requirements definition and backlog readiness across product, engineering, and operations
- Drive execution across complex integrations involving NDC, GDS, aggregators, and direct airline connections
- Ensure high-quality product documentation, functional specifications, and delivery governance
- Coordinate deployment across TripSource, AgentSource, and API channels
- Partner with engineering and operations to validate functional accuracy, servicing behavior, and operational readiness
- Identify execution risks, integration gaps, and operational dependencies; drive resolution through structured planning and triage
- Support global and regional rollout activities, including enablement materials and release readiness
- Contribute to supplier and customer discussions as needed to support delivery and implementation
Requirements
- Strong Travel and Air industry experience
- Solid understanding of corporate travel management and business operations
- Expert product management ownership in air content and supplier integration
- Expertise in complex systems integration, NDC, low-cost carrier models, and multi-channel distribution
- Experience leading major cross-domain initiatives with global and regional scope
- Proficiency in supporting product strategy, producing product documentation, and strengthening product management governance
- Analytical skills to evaluate product performance and identify improvement opportunities
- Ability to communicate complex topics clearly and engage senior stakeholders effectively
- Experience presenting to executives and collaborating with external partners
- Proficiency with XML and JSON API implementation
- Experience managing and integrating third-party vendors
- Fluent in business English and effective in oral, written, and presentation communication
- Proficiency in M365 tools including AI assistants

Pay
The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for this position is between $100,000 and $127,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location.
