About the role

The Sr Manager, Product Development RTW is an individual contributor responsible for the product development process from initial design concept to commercialization. This role leverages proficiency in Product Development & Production to collaborate with Design, Merchandising, Materials, and Technical Teams. The successful candidate will support the Director of Product Development in sourcing strategies, align cross-functionally on development and implementation strategies, and manage timelines and budgets.

Responsibilities

  • Key cross-functional partner for Design, Merchandising, Materials, and Technical Teams
  • Executes product development activities based on strategies and priorities set by Director of PD
  • Supports Director of PD in creation and implementation of sourcing strategy
  • Manages all aspects of development while engaging Design to ensure aesthetic intent
  • Creates and maintains seasonal calendars to ensure timeliness of deliverables
  • Liaises with Tech and Materials Management regarding sending of development packages, materials, and trims to sample rooms and service providers
  • Led weekly cross-functional team PTM meetings
  • Attends seasonal buy review meetings guiding Merch and GMP on product MOQ and manufacturing allocation
  • Supports investigation and development of new SP’s

Requirements

  • 10+ years experience in product development, costing, and production
  • Proficiency in advanced computer skills, tech pack and/or BOM building experience, PLM, Microsoft Access, Outlook, Excel
