About the role

The Sr. Manager, Product Management – Technical leads a team responsible for differentiated recommendation experiences on Amazon's search results pages. These experiences drive product discovery and account for a multi-billion dollar segment of Sponsored Products and Brands revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a cross-functional team of Product Managers, Applied Scientists, Data Scientists, and SDEs
  • Define the long-term vision for ad recommendation experiences on Amazon Search
  • Oversee development of systems and algorithms to deliver new experiences
  • Define success metrics balancing shopper experience, advertiser and business outcomes
  • Collaborate with Search organization to develop coherent experiences across organic and sponsored experiences

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of team management experience
  • 2+ years of end-to-end product delivery experience
  • 8+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience delivering consumer software products and services in a high growth environment
