At Wellvana we help doctors deliver life‑changing healthcare through elevated value‑based care programs that tie healthy patient outcomes directly to shared savings for primary‑care providers, health systems, and payors. Our network lets providers keep their independence, reduce administrative headaches, and spend more time with patients, while patients receive coordinated, high‑quality care. Named 2024 “Best in Business” and 2023 “Best Place to Work” by the Nashville Business Journal, we are one of the fastest‑growing healthcare companies in America.
Role Overview
The Senior Manager, Partner Onboarding is the partner‑facing execution leader within Wellvana’s Business Transformation division. Translating the Director’s lifecycle strategy into day‑to‑day onboarding excellence, this role owns the onboarding workflow for an assigned portfolio of net‑new physician partners. The Sr. Manager leads executive‑level partner engagements, manages activation readiness, delivers partner education, and ensures every partner transitions into Wellvana’s value‑based care programs with clarity, confidence, and full compliance. The position has no direct reports but works closely with the Sr. PM and PM (dotted‑line) and collaborates across Growth, Partner Success, Service Activation, Analytics, and Technology/Product.
Responsibilities
- Onboarding & Activation Operations: Own and execute the full onboarding workflow for an assigned partner portfolio, including data collection, agreements, system setup, access provisioning, and partner education on ACO participation obligations from contract execution through activation handoff. Lead activation readiness, monitor milestones, resolve blockers, and ensure compliant handoffs. Escalate exceptions and compliance gaps to the Director. Conduct executive‑level onboarding engagements—kick‑off meetings, assessments, SME sessions, training webinars, and orientation events—and deliver strategic education on Annual Wellness Visits, HCC coding, and ACO foundational requirements.
- Technology Platform & Process Execution: Execute onboarding and offboarding workflows within the AI Platform per playbooks and compliance standards, maintain data accuracy, and identify process‑improvement opportunities as automation scales. Contribute to the development and maintenance of onboarding tools, templates, and resources.
- Offboarding Support: Support structured wind‑down of exiting partners, handling exit timelines, data retrieval, system deprovisioning, and compliance closure documentation with the same rigor as onboarding.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Lead strategy and execution for the partner portfolio in partnership with Growth, Partner Success, and Service Activation. Align project execution with the Sr. PM and PM, represent portfolio performance to internal stakeholders, and serve as the primary point of contact for partners and internal teams on ACO program questions and onboarding guidance.
- Program Quality & Continuous Improvement: Analyze partner data and onboarding outcomes to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Continuously improve onboarding best practices, SOPs, and education materials, and share learnings across the team. Stay current on ACO program updates, value‑based care developments, and Wellvana operational changes.
