Sr. Manager of Procurement

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Manager of Procurement to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space. This role will oversee enterprise procurement activities across multiple spend areas, with a focus on cost optimization, supply continuity, and disciplined sourcing execution. The Sr. Manager will shape procurement strategy, strengthen operating processes, and build the analytical visibility needed to support informed decision-making. This position will also partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders and lead people management responsibilities, including hiring and performance oversight. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement teams across diverse spend areas while overseeing hiring and performance
• Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs and enhance supply chain reliability
• Lead the creation of a comprehensive future-state procurement operating model
• Establish category strategies and sourcing roadmaps aligned with business impact and supplier dynamics
• Build and maintain procurement spend analysis tools and Power BI dashboards for visibility

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
• 12 years of procurement, purchasing, or sourcing experience
• Experience managing first-level managers, including hiring and performance decisions
• Experience owning a procurement budget and achieving cost savings and compliance targets
• Strong background in strategic procurement, category management, and spend analytics

Pay

$139,200 – $208,800 annually
