Sr Manager of Accounting

Key Responsibilities

• Oversight of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities related to timeshare and HOA accounting
• Financial reporting, account reconciliations, accruals, and general ledger activities
• Ensuring compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies
• Leading budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities for assigned business units
• Reviewing and analyzing financial statements and supporting schedules
• Partnering with operational leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations
• Supporting internal and external audits and coordinating audit requests
• Identifying opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting efficiencies
• Mentoring and developing accounting staff while fostering a collaborative team environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Timeshare accounting experience required
• HOA accounting experience required
• Previous accounting leadership or management experience required
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• Advanced Excel skills required
• CPA preferred but not required
