Sr. Manager, Network Engineering – Data Centers

About the role

Responsible for managing and overseeing network engineering projects within the data centers. Ensures high-quality, efficient, and secure network infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure in data centers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, facilities, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies regarding network security and data center operations.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to network engineering projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in network engineering or a related field.
• Proven track record of successful project management in data center environments.
• Experience with network protocols, security best practices, and data center operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of network architecture, design, and implementation.
• Experience with network monitoring tools and systems.
• Understanding of data center cooling and power distribution systems.
• Experience with cloud networking technologies.

Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira or Asana.

Pay

Salary range is $150,000 - $200,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
