This role is the operational engine behind Plexus' marketing organization, transforming strategy into execution by designing and optimizing the people, processes, and technology that enable high-performing marketing teams to deliver exceptional work at scale. Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, this leader serves as a strategic partner, managing the end-to-end creative lifecycle—from project intake and prioritization through production, delivery, and measurement. They lead the Marketing Operations and Traffic Management team, ensuring the right work is prioritized, resources are optimized, and campaigns are delivered with speed, quality, and consistency.

This is an opportunity to work directly alongside the Chief Marketing Officer and influence how marketing operates across the entire organization. You'll help shape strategic initiatives, modernize the way work gets done, and build scalable systems that enable creative excellence. If you enjoy solving complex operational challenges, leading high-performing teams, and creating efficiencies that accelerate business results, you'll have a visible and meaningful impact on Plexus' future.

Responsibilities

  • Design and continuously improve scalable project management, traffic, and creative operations processes that enable the marketing organization to execute efficiently while maintaining exceptional quality.
  • Partner closely with the Chief Marketing Officer and cross-functional leaders to understand strategic priorities, establish execution plans, remove obstacles, and ensure initiatives move efficiently from concept through delivery.
  • Continuously evaluate workflows, technology, and resource allocation to improve efficiency, increase visibility, reduce bottlenecks, and create measurable improvements across the marketing organization.
  • Develop standardized Go-to-Market (GTM) frameworks, campaign workflows, and tiered launch playbooks that create consistency across marketing initiatives.
  • Build governance around project intake, prioritization, approvals, execution, and asset distribution.
  • Maintain executive-level visibility across all active marketing initiatives while proactively identifying risks, resource constraints, and timeline conflicts.
  • Partner with business leaders to prioritize projects based on strategic business objectives.
  • Forecast project timelines, capacity requirements, and resource allocation while providing solutions for high-priority requests.
  • Ensure marketing campaigns and creative deliverables are completed on time, on budget, and aligned with business expectations.
  • Serve as the business owner and administrator for marketing operations technology, including Workfront, Digital Asset Management (DAM) platforms, and future workflow tools.
  • Manage Workfront request queues, forms, workflows, dashboards, reporting, and project templates that improve operational effectiveness.
  • Evaluate new technologies that improve collaboration, automation, reporting, and creative productivity.
  • Serve as the operational liaison between Marketing, Creative, Product Marketing, Legal, Product Development, Compliance, Sales, and other business functions.
  • Ensure project briefs, objectives, priorities, and deliverables remain aligned throughout execution.
  • Establish operational KPIs that measure project throughput, turnaround time, resource utilization, workload capacity, and overall marketing effectiveness.

  • Use data and analytics to recommend process improvements and operational enhancements.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Marketing Operations and Traffic Management professionals.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
  • Support occasional evening, weekend, or holiday work when business priorities require.

  • Experience designing scalable operational processes rather than simply executing existing workflows.
  • Extensive experience administering Adobe Workfront, including custom forms, request queues, reporting, workflow automation, project templates, and governance.
  • Experience managing creative operations within a fast-paced consumer products, direct selling, retail, or omnichannel marketing environment.
  • Demonstrated success leading significant operational, process, or technology transformation initiatives.
