Description

The Senior Manager of IT Application Development will be pivotal in leading a team dedicated to developing innovative solutions for our Corporate Safety Operational Risk and Corporate Medical business units. This position will drive technological advancements and shape our company's future amid ongoing transformations. As a leader, you will have exceptional leadership and communication skills and a deep understanding of driving organizational change, Agile development, and solutions architecture.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
    • Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or other related field
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
    • Proven experience leading and developing IT teams, with a strong focus on leadership, mentorship, and team development
    • Experience implementing SaaS solutions or building applications using AWS cloud
    • Leadership experience managing multiple cross-functional teams or projects and influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders
    • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
    • A mindset for continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices
    • Advanced technical and business knowledge in software development life cycle, quality assurance, project management, and other related disciplines/processes
    • Well-versed in Agile development and requirements management processes
  • Master's degree (Preferred)
    • Understanding of system architecture principles, including the ability to design scalable and reliable solutions
  • 3+ years of Application development (.Net, Java, or other modern language) (Preferred)
  • Experience managing applications for aviation safety, business continuity, corporate medical safety, etc (Preferred)
  • Experience with Business Continuity software like VEOCI, Everbridge, etc (Preferred)
  • Experience with Occupational Health Safety Management software such as Cority, SafetyCulture, EHS Insight, etc (Preferred)
  • Experience leading initiatives with Quality Management, Safety Management, OSHA, FAA Compliance (Preferred)
  • Experience leading contact center or customer service technology delivery & engineering teams with excellent knowledge of contract center platforms, voice & bot automation tools & industry standards (Preferred)
  • Experience building Digital/ Chatbots & voice bot development using industry leading platforms and digital bot/ tools (Preferred)
  • Experience building Gen AI and Conversation AI platforms (Preferred)

Pay and Benefits

The base pay range for this role is $140,600.00 to $183,108.00. The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
