This role supports high-priority business initiatives that require strong execution, sound judgment, and measurable follow-through. You will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to clarify priorities, solve operational challenges, and move important work forward in a consumer-facing environment.

Location: Remote – US-based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

  • Lead advocacy strategies with state and local governments to align with the company’s business priorities
  • Develop and oversee policy portfolios, tracking trends across jurisdictions
  • Collaborate with leadership to drive corporate policies and objectives in government relations
  • Partner with various business units to ensure alignment in advocacy initiatives
  • Formulate comprehensive government affairs strategies, including innovative engagement methods
  • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including policymakers and trade associations
  • Monitor legislation and assess impacts on the company, recommending strategic responses

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, political science, business administration, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 8 years of experience in government relations, public policy, or similar fields
  • 5 years leading advocacy initiatives with lobbyists or coalition partners across multiple jurisdictions
  • 5 years of relationship building with national organizations and trade associations
  • 3-5 years of leadership experience managing professionals in varied roles
  • 3-5 years managing complex, cross-functional projects in a major organization
  • Experience working with elected officials and political bodies

Pay

$116,400 – $194,500 annually
