Accountabilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise FP&A models that integrate asset, liability, treasury, accounting, derivative, and capital data to support forecasting and strategic planning.
- Support investment income forecasting and attribution by analyzing earnings drivers, asset portfolio activity, interest rate scenarios, and actual-to-expected financial results.
- Partner across Investments, Asset Management, Actuarial, Treasury, Accounting, Tax, Risk, Capital Management, and Technology to ensure planning assumptions and financial models are aligned.
- Deliver meaningful financial analysis, scenario modeling, and business insights that support executive decision-making and identify emerging risks and opportunities.
- Drive process improvements through automation, AI-enabled analytics, enhanced model governance, and improved data quality and reporting capabilities.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to analysts while fostering a culture of analytical rigor, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Experience
- 6+ years of relevant experience in financial planning & analysis, actuarial analysis, investment modeling, corporate finance, insurance finance, consulting, or another highly quantitative analytical discipline.
- Strong expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, investment income analysis, asset-liability management, and translating complex financial data into actionable business insights.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems, think critically, adapt quickly, and leverage technology and AI to improve financial planning and business processes.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.
- Professional designation such as ASA, FSA, CFA, CPA, MBA, or other advanced quantitative credential is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline.
