About the role

Bristol Myers Squibb Company is hiring a(n) Sr. Manager, Engineering & Operations, Global Clinical Development IT (in Princeton, NJ).

Responsibilities

• Implement and support strategic digital capabilities.
• Provide technical guidance in designing and developing scalable, reliable, and secure systems in the specimen management landscape.
• Enable integration between various applications by designing concepts or changes of robust middleware solutions.
• Support the implementation of DevOps practices to streamline software development and deployment processes.
• Work on projects involving natural language processing and advanced analytics.
• Handle and process informed consent forms with use of metadata to achieve efficient sample tracking and compliance.
• Evaluate emerging technologies for adoption.
• Develop software applications following structured Software Development Lifecycle processes in a regulated environment.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, and five (5) years of post-Bachelor’s, progressive, related work experience.
• Five (5) years of experience with/in the following:
• Labmatrix Biospecimen management;
• Home-grown consent tracking tools;
• Clinical domain knowledge including Biospecimen management, consent codification, and general clinical development process;
• Utilizing Qiagram for biospecimen data analytics and visualization;
• Middleware technology expertise in the bio-pharmaceutical industry.
